I caught a cab from Sydney airport over to my parents house in Harbord, and had a great little catchup chat with them for most of the morning and early afternoon.

Even though I was jetlagged, I headed out in the afternoon to look up some of my mates in Manly. Beer and jetlag doesn't mix, and I was toast by 9 PM, and grabbed a cab home to crash out.

After finishing work for the day, I quickly rode home, showered and changed, and dropped the last few bits and pieces in my luggage. Then I sat around and waited for the shuttle to get me out to the airport.

I checked in at Sacramento International, and had my luggage checked through to Sydney, then spent the next 18 hours or so riding jets until, at 6 AM on the dot, I landed in Sydney.

It's ultra-quiet around here at the moment. Work has been keeping me rather busy trying to get all the stuff done before I go on holidays. Must... write... more...
