I love fishing. I especially love big game fishing.

A few years ago, I was fishing with two other anglers on the game boat Bounty Hunter out of Townsville Australia. We spent 5 days living on the boat chasing juvenile black marlin on six kilo standup outfits.

The trip was fantastically successful, with 14 black marlin up to an estimated 35 kilos, and one sail fish estimated at 40 kilos, all tagged and released. A couple of blacks where dropped as well. I think the tally was over 30 fish raised, 18 hooked, and 15 tagged.

That's three billfish captures a day, folks.

One of my goals it to go fishing for yellowfin tuna on a long range boat like the Polaris Supreme out of San Diego. Boats like this give you shots at world record size tuna. To date, my largest yellowfin tuna is 51 kilos (about 112 pounds) taken near Brown's Mountain off Sydney. I would really like to crack the 68 kilo (150 pound) mark...
